The Helotes Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing unwanted animals in loving homes. All of our animals receive age-appropriate vaccinations, testing, a microchip and spay/neuter surgery if needed. Pets are not allowed to go to their forever home until they are spayed/neutered. Most of our animals are ready to go to their forever home within two days of surgery. Remember, don’t shop, adopt!

We adopt dogs to WA, OR, New England and Canada via transport partners and may be able to transport to other locations if transport is available to your area. - We will contact you after we have reviewed your application.
